SRK coming to screens in Pakistan on 16th November-2012!

The film Jab Tak Hai Jaan (JTHJ) which has been eagerly awaited by Pakistani fans, finally will be released in Pakistan on November 16th, 2012.

According to a report in TOI: The film is being distributed in Pakistan by IMGC global. Sheikh Amjad Rasheed,Chairman of IMGC who is a very close friend of late legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra, will be holding a special screening of JTHJ at Atrium Karachi on November 15th. The special screening has been arranged to pay tribute to Yash Chopra and to celebrate his last directorial offering.


Nadeem Mandivalla, CEO, Mandviwalla entertainments said, “Jab Tak Hai Jaan has been finally passed by the CBFC and the censor certificate has also been issued to the movie. People here in Pakistan have already started to book the tickets in advance to watch the movie.”

Annual Charity Gala by Dil Trust!



Annual Charity Gala by Dil Trust was the annual fundraiser event of DIL Development in Literacy Washington DC Chapter at the Sheraton Premiere arranged tremendously by Asimyar Tiwana.


 The star studded extravaganza of Annual Charity also included a range of sparkling collection by King of couture HSY. Some of the other brands showcasing at the gala included Rani Emaan, Goal, Ambreen Azher & NZK. The guests attending the Dil Trust Annual Charity Gala were fascinated by the rich culture and traditional attires of Pakistan and also applauded all the collections presented there.



 Fashion designers exhibited their collections through a mesmerizing fashion show for which the styling and make up of all fashion models was done by Sobia Mustafa of Sobia Salon & Studios.

ETIHAD AIRWAYS PRESENTS FASHION WEEK’S MOST INSPIRING DESIGNER AWARD

Etihad Airways has teamed up with Fashion Pakistan to present “Pakistan’s Most Inspiring Designer” award to Zaheer Abbas. Zaheer wowed fashion aficionados at the recent Fashion Pakistan Week, held in Karachi.


Zaheer, who was also named as the “Best Emerging Talent in Fashion” at the prestigious Lux Style Awards, was chosen in an online poll posted on the Etihad Airways’ Facebook page and the votes received from the members of the Fashion Pakistan Council.

One lucky Etihad Airways Facebook fan, Kamran Hashim, also won 15,000 Etihad Guest Miles by taking part in the poll.

Zaheer is best known for his love for light fabrics such as chiffon, airy silhouettes and attention to detail. His designs are available in various stores in Karachi, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and London.

Etihad Airways’ Area General Manager for Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal, Amer Khan, said: “I would like to congratulate Zaheer on winning this award. It has been a long standing policy at Etihad Airways to encourage fashion, arts and culture worldwide. The Fashion Pakistan Week is organised by the Fashion Pakistan Council to promote and support the fashion industry in the country and promote traditional Pakistani crafts and fashion.
